On the bright side - my trip to NYC is planned and I'm set to leave July 4th long weekend!! Gunna need to find some serious star spangled attire asap...

wilfred
Aritzia has always been on of my absolute favourite places to shop. Aside from the fact that it's Canadian (which just makes it that much better), it almost always has an amazing selection of unique and eclectic pieces that I adore. Artizia carries many different labels such as Winter Kate, Vena Cava, J Brand, Cynthia Vincent, T. Babaton, Rebecca Minkoff and one of my personal favourites, Wilfred (just to name a few). Last night I bought a pair of Wilfred 'Casbah' pants that I have been debating over for quite some time now, but they are just so comfortable that I couldn't resist...

the days are getting shorter
Time seems to be flying by at the blink of an eye, or I simply just have no time anymore. From school to work to sleep to my no longer, existent social life. I feel like my life has spun out of control within the past 24 hours. I need to take 3 deep breaths and think about the good things in life...Don't you hate feeling like a mad woman?

layering it down
Today I started my new job, and I can't get over how beautiful the clothes are that I get to work with each and every day. I got to watch 3 hours of runway shows and loved every second of it. I also made a pit stop into H&M, and bought a couple of layering tanks and my chunky turquoise ring that I looooove. H&M is the perfect place to buy your basic essentials since you clearly can't beat the prices and there are always so many colours to choose from.

I am loving soft jewel tones right now especially this sophisticated, pale shade of green that has stumbled into my wardrobe most recently. Since this "jaded" colour is so fresh and light, you can easily pair it with just about anything which makes it perfect for summer.

Regardless, I had a fun time playing photo shoot and I'm so happy that I've finally had the chance to do this. I've had these harems since last summer and I absolutely love them, especially with my bright orange blazer and leopard platforms that I just can't get enough of. |
